My 2 year old has a large stock of the soy rock crayons! She carries them in her pocket for spur of the moment coloring opportunities and draw-a-thons! Her, and my, favorite ‘toy’. No more toxic crayons for this fam!

I love how Waldorf toys are so beautifully simple and offer much open ended play for the child. I especially love her tree blocks, one minute they are a home for her fairies to play in and the next minute a block can become a phone to chat on or an iron to iron her dollies clothes with.
I love how simple the waldorf toys are and allow for the child to use their creativity and imagination.

I love the simplicity and quality.
My sons love the wooden cars. Hours of playtime are spent “driving” them through the garden on adventures.
I love that Waldorf toys inspire the imagination and offer so many different opportunities for play with each piece!
Great products! I purchased some watercolors a few months ago – we love them!! Waldorf-inspired toys are simply charming – my son and daughter have their own dolls and are very fond of them 🙂 Your book is on my wish list.
All the best for continued success!

I love the energy that natural, handmade, wooden… toys have. I love walking into a waldorf play room and feeling the energy, the peace, and the beauty that surrounds you!

Observing your child’s flowing imagination when playing with good and appropriate toys makes for some pretty wonderful moments.

Sarah recommended Mama K’s Aromatic Play Clay for our 4 year-old grandson. It was not a special occasion–just a we-love-you-very-much gesture on our part. Anyway, he LOVED it and immediately announced that he would keep the clay for the rest of his life! Now that is music to this Grandma’s ears.
Thank you, Sarah, for your wonderful expertise and and uncanny sense of what children need and love.

My favorite toy is the cute cash register. So fun and creative. I love that there aren’t any numbers, so that its powered by 100% pure imagination! My son also loves ALL the wooden vehicles.
I like natural/waldorf/wooden toys the BEST because they are unique and I know that a lot of time and effort went into their creation. These are the toys that I don’t get rid of when my kids seem to be ‘done’ with them. I’m savin’ these for the grandchildren (or for myself just to look at)!!!
I don’t ‘subscribe’ to any blogs on my blog, but I added you as a link. Not sure if that counts or not!
Oh, oops, it’s ‘ruralsuburbia.blogspot.com’.
I love the simplicity of Waldorf toys. We’ve noticed that after really paring down to the essentials, (like play silks, blocks, dolls, crayons, and not much more) our children are never bored and are so much more creative. We love your store and your dedication to this philosophy!

I love Waldorf toys because they feel so good to play with, and I’m glad to know they won’t end up part of the Pacific Garbage Patch.

We have 6 children, ranging in ages from 7 down to in the womb! We see the importance of providing the children with open ended play items, so as to let their natural creativity shine through. Toys made from natural materials such as those carried by Bella Luna Toys, are particularly special because they appeal to all the senses. As children are growing, these sensory rich play items help to create wonderful memories and a serene experience while the children are discovering the world around them. From unstained wooden vehicles, to water based dyed stacking toys, to our absolute favorite silk play cloths, we believe simple is better. We are so happy to provide our children with the absolute best and are glad to see Bella Luna Toys carrying toys we can feel good about. Thank you!

I love the originality of Waldorf toys, and I want that Wildcraft game!

I love natural and Waldorf toys for so many reasons – especially that I can trust they are safe for my child (who still is putting all her toys in her mouth!) and because they are open ended for imaginative play.
my favorite thing about waldorf-inspired toys is the lack of licensed characters. i don’t need shrek or some princess taking over my kiddo’s playtime routine!

I love waldorf-inspired toys because they have such tactile beauty and inner character. My girls and I love the feel of the wood in our hands. I’m also really interested in the cooperative games these days as I have twins, and playing games where we work together always makes for a more pleasant experience.

I’m so glad to see shops like Bella Luna — and one hopes that they will thrive now that the dangers of plastics are receiving more media attention. (At last!) Toys made of natural materials are so beautiful, so my preference for natural toys is aesthetic as well as ecological. I never did like the garish colours of plastics, and they all feel and weigh roughly the same, without interesting textures, and totally lacking subtlety!

We love all the beauty these natural toys products bring to our home. We’ve gotten great use out of the wooden toys and treehouses. Children of all ages seem to be drawn to it. We thought our 8 year old had out grown it but it still gets played with so often it’s centrally located in our home. Any visitor seems to love to play and imagine with this tree house, was the best purchase ever, it’s stayed in great shape and we hope it will be come a lovely heirloom to hand down.
