I haven’t tried Filana crayons yet, but would love to. They look like they glide so smoothly on paper & I love that they have no petroleum product. I think that would be great for our constant use of beeswax crayons while we homeschool. I can’t wait to try them out!!

So much to love about these new crayons! Made in USA, 25% organic beeswax. We haven’t actually tried them yet because we still have our supply of the Stockmar blocks & sticks that we purchased last summer to use in our Waldorf-inspired homeschool. Honestly, if these had been available when we were buying our supplies, I would absolutely have chosen then instead of the Stockmar. So it would be amazing to have a set to try out for ourselves! We love beeswax at our house and my two year old is just now interested in drawing his on creations. He already has ideas for books that aren’t written yet, anybody up for Duck on a Skateboard? Duck on a Bike is one of our favorites 🙂

I really like the fact that the crayons do not contain petroleum products and are made from renewable resources. My daughter is a first time mom and is very concerned about the environment and the toys/products/foods she buys for her son (my grandson). These are right up her alley and I would love to give her some.
