a moment . . .

Right now I am spending every free moment working on the new Bella Luna Toys website, about which I’m all aflutter. I can’t wait for you to see it! As a result, I’ve had very little time to write blog posts.

So here today, inspired by SouleMama, I am sharing Amanda’s Friday ritual. A single photo, no words, capturing a moment. (And, in this case, a sneak peek into what I’ve been working on!)

Wishing you a wonderful summer weekend full of play!

What a lovely picture! I’d really like to see the rest of the room someday too.

This photo was taken at Spindlewood, a Waldorf kindergarten and LifeWays center in Lincolnville, ME run by my dear friend and colleague, Susan Silverio. We recently shot photos there for the new Bella Luna Toys website (coming soon!), so you’ll be able to see more pictures of the room. It’s the most enchanting little school you could ever hope to see!

Sarah, the soft rosa color of this room is so soothing, protecting, warming. I wish you could use it for your canopies too!!! (the pink of the current rose garden ones are a bit too “candy”.) the picture brings up old (good!!) memories of my own Waldorf Kindergartern back in Germany. thanks for sharing!

The pink curtain of the Waldorf playstand was dyed with cochineal, Barbara. It would be nice if the Sarah’s Silks (no relation) products were plant dyed, but if they were, I’m afraid they’d be prohibitively expensive!
