Hi Sarah, love your new video blog (vlog)series! Do you sell the candle you used in the apple? I love how it stands out from the other beeswaz candles on the birthday ring. Thanks!!

Thanks, Leslie! We don’t currently sell the beeswax candles as used in the apple at Bella Luna Toys, but I can order them for the future. It’s good to know of your interest.

This was a wonderful video! The spiral is absolutely beautiful. We don’t have enough people to participate in one, really, but I would love to use the apples and candles in another way. Now that my son is 3 and showing more interest in holiday activities this year, I’m looking for things I’d like to incorporate into our new family traditions. An advent wreath is a fabulous idea. :)

    HI Sarah,

Thank you so much for this inspiration. This was a beautiful video! I have a question regarding Christmas and St. Nicholas Day. I know you said you will post a video about this perhaps. My question is, we are Christian and do celebrate Christmas, but it seems (through grandparents and cousins) that Santa Claus has become too much a part of Christmas. Yet, with my son now nearly 4, the cat is out of the bag. We cannot change Santa Claus. Yet I’ve been trying to incorporate St. Nicholas, and then my son becomes confused because many of the Christmas carols call Santa Claus St. Nick. I want us to observe this more meaningful tradition than that of Santa Claus – any suggestions how to gently separate the two? I hope my question makes sense!

I watched this several times with several of my young children and we look forward to establishing more meaningful holiday traditions and learning more from your blog and video series. I’d like ideas on how to create the feeling of “rhythm” into a chaotic homeschooling household with older and younger children. I’m having a hard time. Thanks!
