I love natural toys because they are more beautiful than their plastic counterparts, so they appeal to me on a deeper level. And they tend to feel better to handle as well.

I love natural/Waldorf toys because they are beautiful, safe, and they promote imagination.
When our friends visit they are always in awe of our collection of Waldorf toys! Especially the Play Stand we purchased from Bella Luna for our 2 year olds birthday.

Thank you for this wonderful giveaway! We love Bella Luna!!
I love the wooden plates & cup that I purchased from Bella Luna. They are my son’s favorite eating instruments & they are more calming visually than the plastic ware that has cartoons on them! We will be purchasing more for his friends as their birthdays come around.
Waldorf toys are our favorites for many reasons. First because they spur the imagination. The block sets are awesome! Second because they are durable. Our son is tough on toys and plastic is broken quickly. However, his wooden toys are still going strong. Finally, we love natural toys because whether or not paint is safe is irrelevant to us. We don’t want him to ingest either kind.

i choose natural, open ended toys for my children because they are beautiful and inspire the most amazing moments of play with my kids. if they break, we can usually fix them…and it’s a fun project together. i particularly like to know who makes our toys and make that extra connection to the things we enjoy in our surroundings. i could really go on for hours here, but i’ll leave at these thoughts. 😉 and thanks for not making me choose my favorite item in your shop!

One of the (many!) reasons that I love Waldorf and wooden toys are that the concept of the toy itself is open-ended, which makes it necessary for the child to use their imagination. Right now I have my eye on a rainbow nesting set for my eldest daughter.

I subscribed….thanks, beautiful blog.
I love the simplicity of Waldorf toys. They don’t clutter a child’s spirit with excessive noise and stimulation, but rather leave lots of room for imagination and individuality in use.

We love natural toys due to their living quality, the warm feeling that they provide the person who is holding them or playing with them.
In the chaos and clutter of today’s toy collections it is so calming to feel and see the simplicity of a natural toy.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE playsilks. They are so versatile and open-ended…my girls have used them for dressing up, as green grass and rivers to build on, as slings for “broken arms”, and as baby blankets to name just a few.

I love Waldorf and natural toys because of their intrinsic beauty and warmth. And they provide unending opportunities for open-ended play 🙂
I have 3 children: 9, 3, and 1 1/2. They all love playing with Waldorf dolls, silks, wooden toys, and natural art supplies. What I love most about these toys is that they encourage values that are important to us, such as the importance of imagination, cooperation, nurturing, logic and understanding, without the negative connotations and meanings that many popular American toys convey subtly or obviously. Also, these toys are the least likely to be gendered in my experience. Overall it saves me time and heartache to have better quality toys because I don’t have to spend as much time “undoing” damage that has been done to my children’s spirit by mass produced toys from a market that is built upon exploitation of third world workers and the environment. It’s worth it, even if I can afford less quantity or frequency.

I love the simplicity and beauty of Waldorf toys. I love the creativity that it encourages to grow within your children. When we “simplified” Waldorf toys were like pieces of art to me and completed the look we wanted for our home.

I love the heart and Star music maker. I use it in my classroom to get the attention of the students. The minute they hear the lovely note, they freeze. This has saved my voice from talking too loud. Robyn
I am new to the idea of Waldorf education and philosophy and love it! I have been slowly replacing some of our non-natural toys with all natural toys which our child actually enjoys playing with more. Just received my first order from Bella Luna toys and love everything!

I love the simplicity and durability of Waldorf Toys. I learned about Waldorf philosophy a year ago and plan to adopt its education philosophy when homeschooling my children this year. To win this giveaway would be fantastic as I would love to order some art supplies.

we love waldorf tyoys because of their simple beauty, many being hadcrafted with loving care, painted with natural watercolors & inspired by our children’s own creative processes. their simple ‘details’ leaving the owrld open for multipurpase play. gorgeous colors, no harsh lines…and as we have 4 children…the fact that we can fix most things is defnitely a plus. they are abit of an investment, but have lasted through the years. 🙂

I love Waldorf toys because they feel so close to nature! They are a delight to all the senses and encourage a sense of what is truly authentic (and what is not).
